Great & Grand

We are blessed to have 1 set of grandparents and 1 set of great-grandparents super close. (We miss Aaron's family!) About once a week, we go visit Carter's great-grandparents during the day! It pretty funny to see how different your grandparents become once they become great-grandparents!

Carter just recently found the stairs at my grandparents house!

Playtime

Carter loves his slide and water! They are a great combo of fun. We've been having great weather here and can even use the shade of the neighbor's house if it gets too hot out.

Spring Break

Aaron was away for part of Spring Break on a youth group trip. During that time, we had lunch at the mall with Julie! :) Carter and I also ventured out to the Red/White NC State football Spring Game alone. I only got to watch a little of the game because I was constantly watching Carter but it was nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine and wolfpack football!

My Easter Basket

Carter's Easter basket traveled to Charlotte but he didn't really get a chance to check it out. He also got a sandbox from the Easter Bunny! Carter wasn't too sure about the sand between his toes and I wasn't too sure about how messy he was getting!

Playdates

Occasionally, we have playdates with Lucas. His mom, Lindsey and I were in youth group together and she sang in our wedding. Lucas is about 3 weeks older than Carter but started walking around 10 months. Carter tried to take Lucas' paci out of his mouth!

Carter's 1st Easter

We spent Easter Weekend in Charlotte with Aaron's family. We enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt at Aaron's parent's church, playing with Cousin Cooper, eating, visiting family, going on a walk & seeing 16 deer.

Prom 2009

April 9th, we attended our 5th Clayton High School Prom. Crazy! This time we attended as parents. Carter went to the prom with us and since we arrived around 9pm, he was kinda tired. He was pretty chill and livened up a little once he could relax in his stroller. We dropped Carter off at my parents house on the way home because we provided a "Safe House" for our youth group kids that attended prom on this night. We ate, played pingpong, ate, played wii, watched a movie and napped before a big breakast!
