Easter Sunday

We enjoyed another Easter Sunday in Charlotte with Aaron's family. After church, we all went out to lunch and then had some family pictures and dyed some eggs after nap time.

An yucky excuse to update :(

Currently, its 4 something in the morning and I'm awake with an all of a sudden stomach bug that is hitting pretty hard. I took Carter to the dr for a rash on his feet that developed on Sunday and turns out he has hand, foot and mouth but is doing find with it. I actually told Aaron I thought thats what it was...I'll add Doctor to my resume now! :) We were leaving Party City after the dr with my mom, and I got sick in the parking lot. I just thought it was because I hadn't eaten in a while. Then I got sick while at dinner and we had to get our food to go. Since then, I haven't been able to keep anything down. Therefore, I would say its not pregnancy related. I slept from about 10-1am...but its been off and on since then. So I decided I would get up and do something productive that doesn't require much energy. I am a little more comfortable typing in the recliner. My mom offered to come help with Carter tomorrow, and I am going to plan on taking her up on that offer. I already called Kelly (the girl I help home school) and told her not to come too. Just looking to feel better soon. This bug is pretty rough while 32 weeks pregnant. :(

Easter Egg Hunt in Charlotte

Shooting the eggs

Carter was scared of the Easter Bunny. He said Bye Bunny when he got close or No bunny.

Today, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Aaron's parent's church in Charlotte. He was more interested in playing on the playground instead.

Good Friday

Yesterday, we headed to Charlotte for Easter. Carter is obsessed with playing outside...

6th year in a row...

Prom!

With Christina... our only teen from youth group at prom this year

One of my favorite teacher friends! Jeffie!

Ya know, as a high school student, I didn't look forward to the prom nor did I "enjoy" it. It was ok. But I must say that I have managed to enjoy it for the last 6 years, as a teacher/teacher's wife. On April 1st, we attended our 6th CHS Prom! Aaron is a junior homeroom advisor so we had to stay the whole time (but we got to take home pretty flowers at the end of the night!) :P His duty was to monitor the parking lot/front lobby so I didn't hang out with him the whole time as I needed to sit occasionally! This year, the students that were freshmen during my last year of teaching are now juniors, so it was fun to see some of them again. Soon, I'll know no one when I go to the prom--that's kinda sad. Luckily, I enjoy people watching and free food, so prom is just the place for me! :P

My date 2010

Flash Back to Prom 2008 (pregnant!)
I think I look a lot better this go around !:)
