Aaron and I enjoyed registering over the weekend at BabiesRUs and Target. Aaron was in charge of "scanning" items, and there were times when he didn't want to scan items of my choice! I don't think he thought about the fact that I can go online and add things! ;) You can check out the links to the registries on the left. We haven't decided on bedding and nursery stuff. I am hoping to head out to Pottery Barn Kids before I make any final decisions.
This past Saturday was the first time I felt the baby move, and knew for sure it was the baby. I even saw my stomach moving so I made Aaron stare at it. Then nothing happened! I've been having this random pain on my right side/back. Could it be my kidney or just random pains related to pregnancy?
Yesterday, I helped with Katie's baby shower. It got me in more of a mood for boy stuff. She's having a boy in March. Not to mention almost everyone I know is having a boy. Crazy. As we walked through Target on Saturday, I told Aaron that I was nervous about having a boy. I don't know what it's like to be a boy. He assured me that he does! :) I cannot imagine being a single parent and/or raising a child of the opposite sex by yourself!! I'm excited to see Aaron in action. He is so good with other people's children, and I would expect nothing less from him.
I bet you want to ask...No we haven't decided on a name yet. I had pink on the brain so this is a big shift in thinking. I'll let you know when we finally decide! I'll accept suggestions!

Boy stuff is so much fun to shop for! Although I will say I have been annoyed at the disproportionate amount of girl clothing to boy clothing in many stores.
You might want to also check out Baby Gap for bedding - they have cute simple designs and if I remember correctly, were rated highly in the Baby Bargains book for quality.
Where is the pain you're having in your side? I had a sharp twinge kind of pain on my left side for a couple of weeks, then it migrated to my right side for another couple of weeks, all before completely disappearing. Mine was closer to my hip / upper rump area, and the dr said it was sacroiliac pain. It was horrible and caused me to walk with a limp! I ended up wearing a belly support belt and did pelvic tilts to help alleviate it on a daily basis. It could also be sciatic pain, but from what I gather reading online, it's hard to tell the difference b/w sacroiliac and sciatica (I thought mine was sciatic pain at first). For me, there's always a pain somewhere --- they just kind of shift around :) Hope you can find some good remedies!
