It's been a busy 2 weeks...but I'm not exactly sure why. :) Carter and I spent our days last week cleaning, going on walks, sending out youth group emails, helping Josh (our youth pastor) out at church, a BJ's run, visiting my grandparents and grocery shopping. Aaron started back to school this past week and had 3 volleyball games. So our afternoons were filled with volleyball. Carter loves volleyball games. He just sits in my lap like a big boy. I'm not sure if he likes the fast pace game or the girls in spandex?!?! :)
On Tuesday night before bed, I made Aaron show me the alarm clock to make sure it was set right. The next morning, we are both woke up to the clock that read 5:44am and it was kinda bright outside. Aaron checked another clock and it was 7:25. School starts at 7:10...so he rushed off to school. He was so lucky because his homeroom was in a meeting in the gym so no one knew he was late! :) This is what the clock displays now!!! I think it's time to retire this guy!
We recently purchased a smaller stroller for Carter. (Thanks Gary & Joanie) Some stores are just not stroller friendly! They have tons and tons of racks ontop of each other and I always manage to run into them. :) Carter seemed very excited about the color too!
We are still on the hunt for Carter's Halloween costume. This is one of our favorites! Just Kidding! :)
I like a good diaper change!
I like to move all around during naptime!
1st Comets Volleyball Game
Visiting my great-grandma at Meredith...right before she retired!
Chillin' on a morning walk
My throat is starting to hurt a little these days so today was a good day of rest. I know Aaron was tired from a very busy first week back.

1 Wedding, Hollywood? & Back to School...
Having babies must be the new thing because we only attended 1 wedding this entire summer. Adam & Rebecca got married over the weekend and it was a beautiful ceremony & reception.
In other news, Aaron's best friend Matthew is trying to turn our baby into a movie star. :) He contacted Aaron a few weeks back about using some of Carter's pictures in the background of a new reality show, Jingles, he is working on. They blew the pictures up at least 3 feet tall! We hope his picture is actually seen in the background but we aren't sure yet.
Teachers go back to school tomorrow. I am excited to be staying home but I am sad to not be at school with Aaron or have him here at home with us. Please keep us in your prayers as we make this big lifestyle change.
I'm off to bed...
Gotta encourage Aaron to get back into the habit of going to be earlier. The Olympic schedule has really messed up our normal routine.

3 months old...
Carter is now about 14 weeks old and has changed soo much!!!
His unoffical stats are:
Weight: About 17-18 pounds
Length: About 25 3/4 inches
We go to the doctor at the beginning of September for more accurate results.
Updates on Carter:
He has found his thumb and he likes it! :) He can be found in his crib somedays just sucking away.
My parents took Carter to get his picture taken one day after spending the night with them.
Last weekend, Carter and I went to Greensboro with my parents to my brother's bball game. Derrick coaches a high school boys basketball team at the Y. We went to the game, dinner & hung out at Derrick's house. Carter was scared of the buzzer and whistles. He cried quite frequently during the game.
We are still trying to decide on Carter's Halloween costume. Here's a cute one that he seemed to like. It was a little snug so I know it won't fit in October!
Last week Carter attend his first volleyball scrimmage and sat in my lap and watched for most of the game. He then laughed at one of the girl's sister behind me for the remainder of the game. Aaron has his first real game tomorrow. We'll see how Carter does then.
This morning about 5am, I heard Carter talking in his bed so I checked on him and he rolled over for the first time. I rolled him back over to his belly and let him show me 2 times. The 3rd time he decided he would rather suck his thumb and go back to sleep.
Our youth group does a fantasy football league and we had the draft today. Carter and Aaron were dressed to support their favorite team.
