Baby Shower at Deborah's

Grandma & Mama Mae stopped by to see the new floors. Grandma (& Papa) got us the crib--so we posed with it! :)

Mallory enjoyed opening presents with me (Mallory is my cousin Adam's little girl)

Julie!

Aunt Deborah

A few weekends ago, we had a family and friends shower at my Aunt Deborah's house. It was nice to see everyone, especially since it had been Christmas since most of us had been together. And it was so fun to see Julie! :) Here's a few pictures from that day.
Currently, mom is finishing the trim in the bathroom. I have helped a little considering my current condition. :) Right now Aaron is in Nashville, TN at TNT (youth event)...his first year without me. It's actually kinda sad and I'm missing Starfield in concert as we speak. booooo! Today's been chill at home without Aaron but last night was no fun. I did not sleep well at all. Geeeez---3 more nights like this! ugh! As crowded as it may seem with both of us and the body pillow, I actually prefer it more than a big empty bed.

Easter Weekend in Charlotte

On the light rail

Brian & Lacey...Pooh is to prove that it was Easter-not Christmas!

Easter Sunday

We went to Charlotte on Good Friday. We had dinner with the entire family that night. On Saturday, we went shopping for some Bobcats stuff for Carter. We found some, not to mention tons of Panthers stuff on MAJOR sale. I was very excited about that! We got $110 worth of Panthers clothes for $15! :) We met Aaron's family to ride the light rail into town to eat at Pike's. So yum! The ride there was empty but we had to stand up for the entire ride back! Who knew everyone who went to see the Globetrotters would ride the light rail?!? That afternoon we hung out with Brian and Lacey. The boys threw frisbee while we hung out enjoying the nice weather. Lacey and I beat the boys 5-0 in Sequence! We then spent Easter and Monday hanging out, eating, playing games and watching basketball!
We are on Spring Break this week. Aaron leaves on Wednesday night for TNT in Nashville, TN. It's been a while since I haven't been. I plan to paint the bathroom (with moms help), do a few other things around the house and beging to prepare my May lesson plans for my sub! :)

Breakfast

Last Thursday we enjoyed another prom night at the Crabtree Marriot. My brother was in town so we stopped by to see him on the way there! :) After prom, all our youth group kids came over and spent the night. I stayed up till about 3:30 (shocker!!!)...well, I was in and out on the couch before then. I got in the bed about 3:30, just as they were going for a walk! Josh cooked breakfast and the kids left about 8:30am. Aaron and I got in a few hours of sleep before leaving for Charlotte on Friday.

Week 30

Here's a picture from week 30. And yes, I am wearing the same shirt as week 26! ;)
Today I started on the 2 week rotation at the doctor. I spent 1.5 hours at the doctor today and I will never go back on a Monday. It was insane. I have had an increased appetite and gained about 4 pounds in 2 weeks!! ahhhh! I got a shot today because I am Rh-negative and Aaron is Rh-positive. When a woman with the potential to develop Rh incompatibility is pregnant, doctors administer a series of two Rh immune-globulin shots during her first pregnancy. The first shot is given around the 28th week of pregnancy and the second within 72 hours after giving birth. Rh immune-globulin acts like a vaccine, preventing the mother's body from producing any potentially dangerous Rh antibodies that can cause serious complications in the newborn or complicate any future pregnancies.
Hoepfully we will have the crib put together this week so we can finally get some pictures up! :D
