Aaron has been working on his National Boards which is lots of writing about classroom discussions/activities/work samples, etc for the past couple months. He was staying at school everyday till 5pm. The postmarked deadline was Tuesday, March 31...and Aaron's was postmarked 4:47pm. We were done packing it earlier that day...and decided to rest during Carter's nap time. The weekend prior to the due date, I was in Asheville on a Ladies Retreat. Luckily, my parents watched Carter all weekend so Aaron could slave away on NB. Aaron will find out his results in December which earn his a 12% pay raise...which is not quite the 100% we lost of mine, but close! :P
After we mailed off everything, we headed out to dinner at Lonestar! Carter enjoyed chowin' down on grilled cheese and fries. After dinner, we went to the Clayton softball at SSS. Aaron has coached for the past 4 seasons, but decided to only coach 1 sport this year so he could complete the National Boards. Our life is a little back to normal now. We are so proud of Aaron! :)
